Forage dryer can effectively dehydrate and dry high humidity and high viscosity materials, such as forage, alfalfa, elephant grass, straw and other materials. Therefore, the forage dryer is deeply loved by the customers. The correct operation and maintenance can ensure the smooth production and the durability of the forage dryer equipment.

1. For the newly installed pasture dryer, it is necessary to run the equipment without load before it is put into formal use.
2. After the no-load operation, the bolts of all parts of the forage dryer need to be tightened, check whether the lubricating oil of the parts is insufficient, and then carry out the trial operation of the equipment.
3. The rated work of the grass dryer during trial operation shall not exceed about 80% of the normal operation, so as to avoid overheating caused by the long-term operation of the dryer.
4. Next, you need to light the hot air blower for preheating, and start the forage dryer at the same time. It is strictly forbidden to heat the forage dryer without rotation to prevent bending of the equipment cylinder due to local heating.


5. Add materials to the dryer, and then gradually increase the feeding amount according to the moisture content of the dried materials. It should be noted that when heat is transferred to the inside of the forage dryer barrel, excessive heat should not be suddenly transferred to prevent uneven heating of the equipment.
6. When transporting the materials to the forage dryer, the appropriate and uniform feeding speed must be maintained according to the water content, viscosity and other conditions of the materials.



7. During the drying process, a large amount of exhaust gas will be generated, which must be filtered and purified by dust removal equipment before discharged. Pay attention to the temperature of the discharged gas. If the temperature is too high, it will have a certain impact on the dust removal equipment.
8. During the shutdown period, the feeding must be stopped first, and then the heating of the hot blast stove must be stopped after all materials in the forage dryer are dried and discharged.
